URGENT!!! BOWP Question. Need help ASAP

Hi everyone, my Post Graduate Work Permit expired on June 11, 2015. I received my ITA on July 10, 2015, and I got my AOR on August 20, 2015 under the FSW category (without and LMIA) using the EE. I was wondering if it is still possible to apply for a BOWP and be successful. Thanks in advance for all the help.

No - not possible. You need to be holding a valid work permit when you apply for BOWP. Since your work permit has expired, you do not qualify for a BOWP.

Thanks for your response. I was also wondering if you would happen to know if I had Implied Status after receiving my AOR? If I do, then does that mean I can legally stay in Canada while I wait for the completion of my PR application?

No - AOR doesn't give you implied status.

To have implied status, you would have had to have applied for some type of permit (either a new work permit or to change your status to a visitor visa) BEFORE your PGWP expired on June 11th.

Assuming the dates you provided are correct, you are currently in Canada without status/illegally and have been in Canada without status since June 11th (hopefully you stopped working as soon as your PGWP expired - if not, stop now before you accumulate any additional illegal work). You have 90 days from the time your status expired to restore your status in Canada. By my calculations, it's too late for you to restore your status since 90 days have passed since June 11th (you may want to double check that).
