I am going to complete 5 years in Canada with close WP and only 3 more months in my hand to apply PR or I have to go out from Canada. I have two kids, they born and brought up here... Me and my family love this country and don’t want to move out from here. I am struggling with ielts scores and not able to apply for PR through express entry. I got over all score 7.5( L-7, R-6.5,S-7,W-5.5)... is there any way I can apply for ITA with this score. Also is there other way I can extend my WP or apply open WP for my wife... really need some good advise.

Whether you can have an eligible profile or not depends on your NOC.

- If you have a NOC B then yes, you can create a profile.
- If your NOC is either 0 or A, then you do not meet the language requirements.

You should use the online tools to estimate your CRS score, if it is not competitive enough you should re-take the IETLS or take the CELPIP which IMO is easier.

You can extend your work permit as long as you receive your ITA AND submit your application, after doing this you can apply for a bridge open work permit as long as your current work permit has not expired. You can then continue working under implied status while your application for permanent residence is in progress.

I tried IELTs twice and both time i got .5 less in W module

CELPIP I tried one time and got 1 mark less in R module

You need to retake one of the English tests and achieve a higher score.

Is your employer willing to get another LMIA so that you can stay longer on a work permit?
