I and my family have expired PR since 2010 and could not maintain residency obligations. We could not enter in Canada before PR expiry. We have requested renewal in 2014 but still showing under process and they are asking for tax and employment evidences. I am now hopeless that our PR will be renewed in this situation. Now I am thinking to surrender the PR cards and request for new scheme for entrepreneur visa or self employed visa for me and wife and apply PRTD for children after 18 years of age. one of child just turned 18 last month.Please advise which option I should adopt. Should I keep waiting or should I go for 2nd option. appreciate your guidance and advise. Your prompt response will be helpful for me. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeees.

There is no point in you continuing to wait, because as you clearly stated, you failed to meet the residency obligations and are not eligible to have your PR cards renewed. Your best bet would be to give up your PR status and reapply if you still qualify.
