Dear all,
I recently received my passport and landing paper under CEC. The thing is I married last year, and it still wrote I am single on the landing paper. I have sent out two packages and two emails to inform CIC that I was married; however CIC seems didn't update my file. My husband is canadian citizen, therfore it wouldn't affect my application at all.
The problem is should I just go to land anyway and inform the officer my martial status has been changed or...????

P'S..I have sent an email to cppo for instruction 2 weeks ago, however I have heard anything from them...

Please kindlyou advice

I landed with a changed status - exaclty the same situation, my husband is a citizen.
I took copies of my instruction to CIC informing them of the change, along with my marriage certificate, my husband and his passport and showed everything to the border officer.
I got married about two weeks before landing and the officer was fine. It was just corrected on paper and then that was it.

If you read the instructions that come with your COPR and passport, it clearly states to inform the border office of any mistakes on your COPR. A lot of folks on the forum have sent their COPRs back and CIC simply returned them as is.
