Sorry guys i have already raise this question in one of the thread.
Just opening a new thread bring it notice to wide audince.

My deadline to report to CIC correspondence i received is 12th march.
I hired a law firm for this... I had an impression that they are replying by Friday.
But on Friday evening they told me they have sent query to CIC to grant 7 days extension.
They have sent it around 6 pm which means they must have not got anything confirmation from cic.
Now i am worried if i miss the deadline and on Monday mooring cic refuse to grant the extension then my application sure will be declined.
I did sing use of Representative form on Friday evening.
What should i do? Should i prepare response my own and send it by tomorrow?
Please seniors and everyone shred some light.

1. You were given a deadline, you didn't meet it. Your lawyer requested a seven day extension, after the close of business on Friday, so IRCC won't see it until at least Monday.
2. You better hope that the officer has some sympathy and gives the extension, or s/he just makes the decision with the information on hand.

You are responsible for your application and for meeting the deadline. Please dont wait for IRCC to grant or decline the extension. IRCC can be brutal or kind, it is not within your control. Please fill up the form, submit it and get on with your life.

I think you should reply on your own! Please be dependent on your agent.

I wasn't sure what to reply which is why i went to law firm. Now if i miss the deadline for sure application will be declined. Can i go back to the pool and wait for another call? 2nd tym when we apply firm can give the reason of rejection in first time.

I really fear mere responding my own won't complicate the case.

If your application is declined you will lose your fee. Do you really want to withdraw your profile and get into the pool and start all over for just 1 form?

Could I ask what is this request about?

Schedule A was letter 1 and letter 2 was
This letter is about your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order to continue the review of your application we require that you provide us with detailed information for the time period between January 2006 and July 2011. Please provide us with residency, occupation/studies, travels, etc. for the period mentioned. If you were not working, provide information on what you were doing (for example: unemployed, studying, travelling, retired, in detention, etc). If you were studying, please provide the location of studies, time period when you took the course. If you participated in a distance education program/online studies, please indicate the name of the institution, the location where course was taken, etc. You must identify your activities during the specified period detailing day, month and year for each entry.

I don't think you need to get anxious for this request until you did something bad during this period like involved in criminal activities or something like this!

No never been part of any such things... Just curious what triggered cic to serve this request

You need a law firm to fill in Schedule A for you? That's insane.

It's fairly common. Half of applicants get it.

If I were you, I would go ahead and submit Schedule A right away. Why take the risk missing the deadline and getting your application rejected for something so simple?
