What does this mean when I received this email from ircc? Does it mean application stand to be approved?

------

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We received your request for the urgent processing of your permanent resident card (PR card).

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that we have forwarded your request to the responsible office.

Once the card is produced, it will either be:

  • Mailed to you,
    or
  • Randomly selected for in-person pick up:
    • this random selection for in-person pick up allows IRCC to gather information for improving the processing of PR Card applications.
If your card is selected for pick up, you will be informed of the date, time and location and the documents you should bring with you.

Rest assured that we will make all the necessary efforts to speed up the processing of your application.

If the card is not ready before your departure, you will have apply for a permanent resident travel document (PRTD) before returning to the country.

A few useful tips

  • If you need to leave Canada before you obtain your PR card, and you:
    • return by private vehicle:
      • you can present documents proving your PR status,
    • return by commercial vehicle (airplane, bus, train, or boat):
      • you will have to apply for a PRTD (normally valid for one entry) before your return to Canada.
  • You can verify the status of your PR card application using the Client Application Status (CAS) online tool.
We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

It's a standard response. It just means they have received your message.

FYI - if you applied under H&C they generally won't consider an urgent processing request.

Thank you for providing me with the response.

Yes, I had received an automated response in another email, but in this one was a separate email.

Thank you for reminding about lower chances of being approved for urgency request while I have applied for H&C.
