Dear Seniors,
Do the CRS score affect if there is a break of 4-6 months in a career path.
Would it lead to less CRS score or a complete in-eligibility ?
How to tackle it if yes :'(

If you have more than one year of experience, 4-6 months of break shouldn't lead to a complete ineligibility.
For the CRS score, unfortunately I do not know.
Seniors welcome ! :)

Good luck.

This will not affect your CRS score.
Simply because you will get no points for this 4-6 month gap as it is not a period of skilled employment or any other relevant activity.

However, please ensure this 4-6 month gap is outlined properly in your application.

Hi,
I have started freelancing work since I left my job 2 years back.
Not much work done though during these 2 years in freelancing profile.

Pls suggest what should I mention in work experience for this 2 years.

I'd go with the truth. As freelancing = being self employed, mention 'self employed' for this period of time.

are you claiming points for this free lancing?

There is absolutely no problem with claiming that you were unemployed for a certain period of time.

Has no effect on your CRs points or chances to get PR.

If you did freelance work, then you should mark it as self-employed.

I have 4 years of experience, then there is a 6 months gap (unemployed). Now i am employed (1 year). Can I claim 5 year of experience.

3 years of experience already get you th maximum points possible so having 4 or 5 wont make a difference in your points either way.

If you can get employment letter for both, sure, make it 5 years but it will have no effect on your CRS score

But, is it required to show this experience.. as I am not claiming this work experience.
One more thing.. If I am showing this work experience in Work history as Self-Employed, do I need to provide any documents for this? If yes, what documents to be provided?

If you are not claiming points for it, then you do not need to provide amy proof for it and can just make it part of your personal history.

If you choose to include it and claim points, you would have to show work contracts, tax slips, invoices and any other proof you might have to show that it was paid self-employment.
