Upfront medical type: Visitor

Hi,

today I went to a medical in QC and got a confirmation paper that says "Upfront medical type: Visitor."

Is this wrong? I told them that I need it for Express Entry but I didn't notice they put "Visitor" there. The medical exam seemed like the one I was supposed to undergo.

What can I do now?

I got it done couple of days back in QC too, and mine says 'EDE'. I thought it should be 'non EDE' and told them that. They didn't seem to care much and ignored it.

Mine now says Non EDE / Worker. I hope that's the best possible combination haha but one never knows.

I just called them up and changed mine too. I was politely telling them the same thing that day multiple times and no-one would listen. Such nutjobs.

I searched around and found that someone was actually rejected with Non EDE / Worker because the VO thought it was for temporary workers only.

But I still think it makes more sense than visitor. Appearantly, nowadays the VOs don't look at the type at all, but who knows...

Hi,

I was checking my information sheet before uploading & observed that "Upfront medical type" for me (primary applicant) is Visitor. It is Worker for my spouse & kids.

Will it make a negative impact? Should I get it updated for me?

Thanks

Hi,

I visited the clinic & they told me that my report was already sent to CIC. However, they printed my information sheet again & manually corrected it to Worker (they told that correction on system was not possible as report is already sent to CIC). They put additional stamp of Doctor near correction. Doctor also told me that she has sent email to CIC about this mistake. I submitted this corrected sheet along with my application & also explained it in LOE.

Do you guys suggest that I should get a new medical done & send as CSE? Or this manually correct sheet is sufficient considering that tests are same?

Thanks
