I am wondering if I can go ahead with an upfront medical exam (will be applying with my spouse). However, I am not sure if Express Entry applicants with spouse are eligible for an upfront medical exam. On the Medical exam page, it says "A new application process for the spousal sponsorship program came into effect on December 15, 2016. Spouses, partners or dependent children can no longer do an upfront medical exam. Wait for our instructions before going for your medical exam." - However I don't know if it applies to express entry applicants (who will be applying for both themselves and spouse) or an applicant who is already in Canada, let's say Canadian citizen but is sponsoring their spouse?

Can someone comment if they were in a similar situation recently or know something about this?

Pre-Assessed..
You're applying for PR via EE not for family sponsorship.

Book your appointment for an upfront medical for the both of you.

hi all,
I have a query regarding upfront medical test done.I got ITA under CEC on sep 2017 then took the medical exam. But later on declined the ITA due to some reasons. Now I am expected to get ITA again by this mar end.

1.Is it fine to submit my last upfront medical test since its already 6 months old? Personally I don't want to submit this as it will get expire by the time I land in Canada.

2.Is it possible to do another new medical exam after getting ITA?I heard somewhere that we not suppose to get new medical until the old one expires.

Thanks
