Re: Upfront e-Medicals @ Apollo Hospital << AHMEDABAD >>

The experience was very positive since I reached the hospital in time.
I asked for the Canada Medical at the main reception. I was directed to that area where they do medical checkups for USA, Australia, NZ & Canada.
I went and asked at the reception desk about my medical check up. They asked me to verify my name on the list, which is list of people who took appointments that day.
I checked my name and they asked me to fill out a simple form.
Then they looked to my Passport and asked me for e-mail/documents that I received from CIC.
Which I showed to the lady and after she discussed with her office mate she asked me to wait in the waiting area...
Well then sequentially medical checkup started...
  • Height, Weight, Heart Beat & BP
  • Blood Checkup, Urine Checkup
  • Chest X-ray
  • Eye Checkup
  • Normal Body Check up by Doctor
  • Personal Photo to upload online
That's it Medical is done all at one place.
Overall it took me like 3 hrs.
But all together it ended in a good way...
Staff was very good and doctor too.
I would give 5/5 stars.

  • Did you shown them AOR email printout as it is upfront?

Yes same question
Hi for upfront medical- you need to get the medical information sheet provided from the hospital and upload into cic as webform. choose any category - Technical difficuly or additional document - to ensure you add this into your file. Also you can wait for cic to send you medical request, if you did not went for upfront medical considering not sure how long it takes for PR processing and medical has 1 year of expiry date.
