I submitted my FSW application in December and like most on here, waiting for further updates. I lost my job due to COVID in December 2020 (after I submitted my application), and started a new job in May 2021.
I have not sent a web form through to the IRCC to update them as I am not claiming points for this new job. However, I am planning to go to Canada in late September (on a tourist ETA) to visit some family and friends, and as part of the ETA, it's asking for my employer name and what year I started.
The company I now work for is of course a different one from the company listed as my most recent on my Dec 2020 EE application.
To avoid discrepancy/confusion with my application, should I raise a web form and update the IRCC of my new job, before submitting the ETA?
