Updating bank accounts in India with your Canadian cellphone number

Has anyone landed in Canada, (from India), updated your India Bank Account (ICICI, SBI or HDFC) with your Canadian cellphone number to keep it active and receive OTPs ?

Is there an easy way to do so either online or by calling any of these banks ? Can anyone share their experience on this pl ? thanks for your feedback.

Moreover, guys do you convert your account to NRE/NRO? Will there be a benefit in doing that?

By the way,@Aniclb, SBI has a mobile application to receive OTP. Once you register with that, you don't need any mobile number
