Updated Form!!!

Hi all,

Just a quick heads up...CIC has a new Document Checklist (for sponsor) updated 03-2012. Be sure to use the new form!

Put an "X"...yeah...and when you click on the box it gives you a "check"...make any difference or should people fill it in by hand? Nice update...sheessh

what exactly is the change they made in the form? and would this change apply to me (my app was recieved jan 26th and i based by application on the sponsor checklist they had on CIC site before the amendment)?

Are you serious!? ok, I'm going to print it out. Did you know they have a new Sponsorship questionaire form and Generic application form for the permanent resident applicant as of Feb 2012? I started filling mine out in Jan so I didn't know until recently and had to refill in the new forms. Thanks for letting us know about the checklist.

I check the cic website all the time and this new form is very new, so if you submitted your application back in January or February, you're golden.

What changes? None that I could see...stupid, really...unless there is something I missed.

Has anyone else noticed the "X" / "checkmark" issue on the document checklist? Why wouldn't CIC spot that mistake, and more importantly, does it make a difference??

Lemondrop, no worries, just print the new form and use it, nothing to fill out, so no big deal...and yes, I am using the most current IMM0008 and IMM1344 forms...all other forms haven't changed.
