Hi everyone,
I already have a job-specific work permit (I am a researcher and I work in a research institute in Waterloo), and I am in Canada since last November.
Now, I was awarded a research grant in the Netherlands and the idea would be to combine the two positions together: my new contract would be 50% Canadian
and 50% Dutch. My employer in Canada would not change, nor my duties, but it would be part-time and no longer full-time, and I would also have an employer
in the Netherlands.
Can I stay on my work permit or do I have to apply for a new one?
I thank anyone who could help me with this question, I do not have a lot of time to respond to the offer, and seems impossible at the moment to get in touch
with IRCC.
