Update of fresh IELTS do we need to notify OINP

Hi guys!! My IELTS is expiring in 3 months, so I took a new one, almost same result.

Do I have to notify OINP abut the change or should I just go ahead and update the info before ITA or should I do after ITA please advice.

You can continue with your old IELTS as long as it is valid. If you are updating the scores in your profile before you get a nomination from Ontario, then you will have to intimate OINP by sending Change of Personal Information Form along with scanned copy of your IELTS TRF.

if it is EXACTLY the same then don't worry if its " almost " than change it to the latest one. i would say update it before ITA.

The problem is my old one is only valid for another 2 months

Yeah I have old one in my profile which is expiring in 3 months November and I am expecting the ITA before that, I got a new one score is almost same.

I guess the IELTS needs to be valid during the whole PR process

Update it now in your EE profile, if you still don't have AOR or nomination from OINP before your old test expires, update them too.

People here said that OINP will consider IELTS results even if they expired during processing at OINP, but better to be safe, in case OINP doesn't treat applications consistently.

i would say update it with your new IELTS score soon as possible and your profile will take 24 hours to update the information you enter into EE system you will get an email after 24 hours that your profile has been updated and then your all set.
