I received my PR back in 2018 through common law sponsorship. We recently got married (in Canada), and also moved to a new apartment.

Is there any obligation to update CIC (or any other place - besides CRA) with my new address and marital status, after PR has already been granted?

I remember reading back when I applied that changes to marital status must be communicated, but I'm not sure if that's only if you have an ongoing application

Hi

1. No, CIC doesn't care unless you have an application in progress.
