unrelated degree for NAFTA Professionals / Intra-Company Transfers

Hi,

In case I want to transfer to the branch in Toronto as a software engineer,
is it likely that I can obtain a NAFTA Professionals visa or NAFTA Intra-Company Transfers visa?
If not, are there any other available options to obtain a work permit in Toronto within a month?

My Background
- US citizen
- Have been working in a company in the US for more than 4 years
- 5 year's work experience as a software engineer
- No computer science degree(Bachelor degree in a university in Korea in Economics major)

An Intra-Company Transfer visa would only be possible if you held an executive role (which you do not) OR if you have very specialized knowledge and your company is able to prove this when they apply for the ICT (they will have to provide strong evidence or the ICT will be refused).

If you have a job offer in Canada and your occupation falls under NAFTA - then you can try applying for a work permit under NAFTA. It's possible your education may be an issue - also possible it may not be because you have experience in the field.
