Visa issued last week, Alhamdulillah! Took 3 months, but still, better late than never.
University of Manitoba, University 1 course, basically a wide range of options, subjects wise in the 1st year of study, then normal bachelor degree resumes.
Term starts on the 5th of May, still in the pre-departure phase.
IA will leave at the end of this month, first timer here so could use all the help anyone has to offer, with regards to housing, transit, clothes, food, culture, norms etc etc basically the pro's and con's of moving to a new and very unfamiliar country. Have a few friends who have been studying in and around Winnipeg, but the more the merrier! =)
Other students from different Canadian universities are more than welcome to connect here. Just friendly advice, do's and don'ts and how to get by.
