My background:10th -91%,12th 87%,Btech(ECE)63%,IELTS-7

i dont know if its worth doing this program,worried about stay back and PR options,
If i take this course will i be eligible for work permit during stay back?I have no answers to these questions?

if your study permit is for two years then you are eligible to get three year workpermit ..

Calm down. Unlike other countries canada doesnt nationally rank its universities. The only rankings which are available are macleans and webometrics. Ufv is not AACSB or EQS accredited for mgmt which apparently happens with top tier univ , however its a public university with a good standing. The globe and mail ranking of job satisfaction and education is something which is a marketing tool and many small time univ like thompson rivers and viu have been ranked similar. True rankings come from macleans and
webometrics for Canada. Macleans doesnt even include macleans or TRU for its ranking and webometrics ranks it http://www.webometrics.info/en/north_america/canada bottom below even under some famous cllgs. However webometrics ranking uses algorithms which doesnt really grade per programme and rankings are based majorally on popularity but webometrics is industry standard ranking tool and gives you a fair idea ahout repute of an institution. Having said all this Ufv just like any public univ is not a bad univ and better than joining any small college .

Hardeep its okay to be prejudiced with things which you believe. Its ranking is low and thats fact and it comes under small scale university grants for aids received by a univ. Even the globe ranking is under small univ category. They also have off campus in chandigarh and china to attract more students and they are trying real hard to raise status quo. But as i said its not a bad univ and the globe ranking is a tool to popularise themselves which again is not a bad thing. But employers may not give it any special preference as many may not even know it. Simon fraser univ which is one the top tier has much bigger presence in fraser valley. However its upto what you need to decide and if you have the right grades and looking for a right course i would recommend you a better institution

My dear friend every small univ advertises every small achievement. And globe mail has a history of ranking low ranked institution. Trinity western univ 2006 ranked one of the best by globe is on the verge of being de accredited by bc govt for running unapproved courses and courses being of no value to employers.
