I was going thru ur posts in UoA, so wanted to take advice from u.

My profile :

10th : 91.4%
12th : 85%
Btech (Electronics and Communication) : 78% (2012)
Since then working in IT domain with an MNC (HCL Tech) as a software engineer. I have 20 Months experience as of right now

IELTS : 7.5 ( R:8, L: 8.5, S: 6.5, W :6.5)

1) Do u think my profile is suitable for applying for masters in University of alberta or UoC for internetworking or any other course? (I have not taken TOEFL or GRE)
2) I have right now applied to Concordia University college of alberta for Masters in Information security for this sept Intake. People suggest me to go for better public ranked universities cos of my good profile.
3) I am targetting alberta cos it has got easier PR rules, as compared to other province. But m not sure abt the job prospects of IT in Alberta.


Any more suggestions are most welcome

I Also want to apply for MEng Mechanical Engineering in Uni of Calgary,
for Winter (January) 2015 session,

HSC : 86%
F.SC: 89 %
BE : 83 % in Mechanical Engineering
7 months experience in Automotive Industry
IELTS : 7 bands( No band less than 6.5 )

I am also planning to apply in Uni of windsor, UBC, Macmaster.. ? PLease suggest me some universities according to my profile
where I can get admission???

No need. I applied for my visa without any proof of payment. Although I have submitted a letter of financial support from my research supervisor and some bank documents to assert my financial capabilities.

Can someone please guide me on getting an admission for pHd in Signal processing(electronics) in canada... This is for my wife. i ll give her profile below..
Xth : 96%
Xii th : 97%
BTech( Bachelor of engineering, India) - 3.74/4.00 CGPA (WES Course by course evaluation)
MTech( Master of engineering, India) - 3.67/4.00 CGPA (WES Course by course evaluation)
PhD (Indian Institute of space Science and technology) - completed course work but discontinued after one year.
Immigration status : received CoPR and will be arriving in may.
International Journal - 2 journals on signal processing and satellite imaging with reasonable impact factor.

Following are my queries :
1) In which university she is likely to get an admission for PhD?
2) How hard it is to get admission in U of C?
