I am applying for MEng Mechanical engineering(self funded) in University of British columbia.Can anybody guide me what are my chances of acceptance?
I have already been accepted in University of Victoria for MEng Mechanical engineering program.

My Profile is:

CGPA 2.80/4.00(70%,first division) from NUST,Pakistan
IELTS 7.5 Band (W=7.5,S=7.5,R=7.0,L=7.0)
work exp 1 year FMCG
Project: did a research project in final year as an undergrad.

Please your guidance will be appreciated.

heheheh NO, brother u have 95% chance of getting visa. IELTS is damn good as well as ur % > so, don,t worry go ahead and apply for admission and visa afterwards i,m sure u,ill get it >

Victoria is the Best Option for your Profile Bro, Just Close your Eyes And go For it I am Sure you will Never Regret.

I myself trying to Get an Offer of Victoria University or Calgary University.

But didn't Get It Yet.

Yes I am holding UVic option since MEng Mechanical is not being offered by Alberta,Calgary,Waterloo and McMaster.UoT is not affordable so my options for MEng Mechanical in good universities are only UBC,Queens and Mcgill.
I am prefering UVic over Ottawa and Western Ontario.Should I apply in ottawa,Western Ontario or all three are almost equal in reputation?
for Which Program did you apply in UBC when you got a rejection?

UVic Seems equal in reputation with UWO and Ottawa.

I applied to Masters in Software Systems.
