University of Alberta Fall 2015 intake. Anyone gotten the LOA yet?

Hey All,
I just wonder, I have applied for Fall 2015 MSc Materials Engineering program in University of Alberta. I finished and paid the online application on March 17th. I haven't got any feed back from the Department until now, although the Faculty of Graduate Study and Research responded to my mail and confident that the department will reply at earliest convenience. I mean to ask how long does it usually take to clear the preliminary stage? Because a friend of mine had applied on February 17th and gotten feedback in 5 weeks or so.
Does anyone has already gotten the LOA at this point? I start to worry sick. Reply is much appreciated.

I made some revisions in my application on march 30th though. Making a special request to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research to upload it to my online application.

I got rejected from UoAlberta and UoCalgary for fall ' 15, reason i feel i expected too much from my profile. Sad Sad
Can you guys please guide some universities according to my profile for January intake.

10th -- 73%
12th -- 53%
B.E (Computer Science ) -- 63%
GRE -- 308
TOEFL -- 100
Total IT Experience -- 6.5 Years (IBM)

Hey, Jash. So sad to hear you got rejected. When did you apply and how long does it take for them to email you the rejection letter?
Did contacted any supervisor before hand?
Please post the rejection letter if it's convenient.
