University Graduate Mechanical Engineer NOC confusion

Hi,

I am a University Graduate Mechanical Engineer. I want to know if I can apply under CEC with Mechanical Designer job.

Doesn't it have to be 21xx for University mechanical engineer?
Mechanical designer is 22xx. Can I still apply with this code?

No, you need to have one year experience. And you need to apply under the right NOC code which covers duties which you do.

As long as it's skill level A,B or 0, it doesn't matter what you do after graduating. You can work as a carpenter after getting a degree in neuroscience for all they care.

Like gladaki said, so long as you have 1 year experience, you qualify for CEC.
