University category..whether income certificate or ITRs required ??

I am applying under university category from India.....
i want to knw that whether i should attach following docs like ITRs of my parents or some Income certificate??
It is not mentioned but consultancy is saying to make it.....
so whether you ALL , who applied under UNIVERSITY or SPP category submitted these docs??

i applied in university category for u of alberta.

did GIC, paid 1 year approx fees, attached dad's 3 years ITR, my 2 year ITR and my last 6 months salary slip.

got visa with these financial things.
