University and Course transfer

Hello everyone.I am a BTech 2015 passout from mechanical.I want to pursue MS in CS in Canada.I heard that getting a visa is tough as I'm sliding from mech to cs.So, can I apply for mech in one university and after landing in Canada, shift to CS in another university. How far is this plausible?

You can certainly change universities. How many transfer credits you get (if any) will depend on what schools you are attending and what programs you take. Only the university you will be transferring to can tell you how many transfer credits you'll receive.
