I am sending my initial application package to CIO, but I couldn't fit my diplomas inside the 9 by 12 inch envelop. WHAT TO DO GUYS? Do I need to send the photocopy of diploma by folding it inside the envelop?

HELP ME PLEASE.

Except for photographs which must not be stapled or creased, why wouldn't you want to fold a photocopied diploma so it will fit the envelope? Squeeze it in and get that envelope on its way!!! Good Luck!

I tried really hard to squeeze, twist, fold, unfold, everything, but I couldn't fit the "Application forms + VO documents" in that 9-12 inches envelop.

Anybody has a similar problem.

I send them in a bigger envelop and write a note explaining the situation. Hope they gonna accept it.

Crossing my FINGERS. ???

you may use bigger envelop. Now they are asking so many documents, people are sending documents of 1-2 KG in weights- can never come in 9 inch by 12inch.

Use a slightly bigger one. need not to worry.

We had to send ours in a bigger envelope. 9x12 = 230mm x 305mm, we had to use 250mm x 380mm and then folded the redundant end of the envelope so that the total size was 250mm x 340mm. Since our University transcripts were 320mm long we could not find into the request 9x12 without folding.

I am sure they just want them to be that approximate size rather than people trying to fold into envelopes too small or send in unnecessarily large envelopes. They probably have to stack them quite high so they need them to be similarly sized!

I very much doubt anyone will have application returned for having a slightly different sized envelopes. In UK we can't even GET exactly 9x12 since it's a US size.

Ya I agree with you all. I think they haven't updated the envelope size after june 26th New Rules. There is no way you can fit all those applications + the Visa Office requirements in 9 by 12 inches envelope.

They shouldn't return application based on the size of an envelope............ anyway size doesn't matters. ;D :D ;D
