hi
i am jordanian and my wife canadian citizen we were living in jordan about 3.5 years and we had 2 kids there , now i came to canada as visitor and we want to fill our application ,my wife she didnt work when she was living in canada and now she want to do her high school and we applied for that 1 month ago , we are living at her mom house free now and she taking care of us ( foods ,clothing ,etc ) , and i am the one who was taking care of everthing when were in Jordan .
My question as in the EVALUATION :
since my wife unemployed they ask her to indicate how you support yourself ? and we are confused to what to answer this question ?
any advice please ?

You basically need to show the govt how your wife plans to support you once you become a PR of Canada. I don't think there is a minimum wage requirement. You say your wife is going to go to high school? and currently you all incl. 2 kids live with her mom? If so, you guys better have a good solid plan about your future.

Hopefully more experienced members can give you better advice. Good luck :)

Hey,

AS the previous said - you need to prove to the government that you will not go on welfare. So even if you don't have a job, as you can not work for the moment, I suppose you have talked with your wife on how you will support yourself as a family - so that's what you need to explain to CIC. Include the information about living for free at your parents-in-law, get her mother to write a letter explaining that she will host you and provide for you as long as necessary ( she is not the sponsor, but she can write a letter), and if you have some skills that would make you employable in Canada, then explain that as well. there is no minimum income, but CIC needs to be convinced that you will not go on welfare once you get approved for PR.
Good luck on putting together your application,
Sweden
