Dear All,

My current job is Financial Analyst which is not my primary NOC job I am scoring points for.
But my maintenance fund is through the accumulation of salary income from this job.

I have certain difficulties in disclosing this work experience in my work history, because I won't be able to get a reference letter from this job due to HR policies.

Is it a problem if I don't disclose this in the work experience and show that my maintenance fund was collected through this employment?
If I mention it in the Personal history only, is it ok?

Please share your thoughts and advices.

I don't completely understand your situation here. However, what I can gather is that your question is if you can disclose some work and experience and not another. Absolutely YES. You are free to disclose only that work experience for which you claim points.

Second, it does not matter where you got the funds from. If your funds have been in your bank account for a while and is all in your name, you are good.

Hope I answered your question.

Thanks for your answer..

Let me make it clear, I don't score points for my current job since it's not my primary NOC job.
I have deposited a large sum of money into my account and maintained the funds only for just over 3 months. This large deposit is from the employment savings (my current job which I am not going to disclose under work experience).

Do I have every right to only disclose the work experiences I need to?

Will they think that I have misrepresented my information?

This is what I need to make sure..

Yes. If you are not getting points, you don't have to, however even if you put it in, it won't hurt you. But, if you feel you will have issues in disclosing it and you have over 3 years of eligible work experience, you can leave it out. See it this way, if you are employed at a place which does not get you points and you cannot get a reference letter, then how will you disclose your employment. But, you can state this in your personal history, but not your employment history.

Will they think that I have misrepresented my information?
No, because in another section you will be asked to disclose all addresses where you have lived and travelled. So you information will be there. If there are any gaps, CIC can as you for a Schedule A to clarify. Not disclosing information is not misrepresentation, unless it is suppressed to commit fraud or give a wrong impression.

This is what I need to make sure..

For points purposes only related employment should be mentioned.

However, in schedule A all studies, unemployment, employment, travel needs to be mentioned.
