Understanding of new rule 4 out of 6 years

Am I right if I understand new rule as follows:

Landed on 15th Jan 2013 - became PR & started residing in Canada, having job & filing tax returns yearly etc.

Eligible to apply Citizenship - 15th Jan 2019 (6 yrs window)

Completing 4 yrs within these 6 yrs - 1460 days but out for 430 days (out of allowed 730 days) in 6 yrs (intermittently, say 2 -3 months yearly)

So completing 1460+ days within 2190 days window.

Pl correct me if my understanding is wrong.

yes your understand is correct..... if implemented wait may some change come
for time being 1095 days out of 4 years..

It appears to me you understand the new requirement correctly.

I would just note that for the individual who landed Jan 15, 2013, that individual may become eligible for citizenship as soon as Jan 16, 2017, subject of course to how much time was spent outside Canada in the meantime . . . so even if this individual was outside Canada 75 days a year (two and a half months) he or she could still be eligible before the end of 2017, whenever he or she reached the 1460 day minimum physical presence threshold.

Reminder: In the meantime, however, if there are especially extended absences during any of the calendar years, totalling six months or more within the calendar year, that could delay the earliest date the individual will become eligible. Eligible PR must also have been present in Canada for 183+ days in each of four calendar years in the qualifying period.

Off course meeting 183+ days requirement too and u r right; would be eligible by 2018, just keeping approx 2 months yearly off for holidays etc.
