Hi,

My Daughter is in +2 (12th standard) and will be finishing this May (2015).

She is interested in
1. Dietitian and Nutrition
2. Biology
3. Biomedical

Her scores are as follows (CBSE) English medium
10th 91%
11th 63%
12th 70 to 75% (Expected)
IELTS Need to write in April ( I am sure she will get > 6 )

My question is
1. Can we apply now or most of the universities closed for fall?
2. Is IELTS is required along with first application set or later can be submitted?
3. What will be the cost of first year expenses ?
4. What are the Universities , reasonable expensive, around Ontario
5. How does scholarships system work?

Thanks in advance

Sreenivas

1. Not sure.
2. Typically required along with the application but requirements vary from university to university.
3. Depends on the university. U of T will be around $30K for tuition alone (before living expenses).
4. Universities outside of large cities will be cheaper (e.g. Lakehead, Brock, Nipissing)
5. Most scholarships are for Canadians rather than foreign students. You should assume there will be no scholarships available since the studies are at the undergraduate level.
