Hi everyone,

I didn’t declare my daughter under my STUDY PERMIT APPLICATION because the daughters mother and I are not married and I was confused whether to declare my daughter or not, I already arrived in Canada and I am thinking of working here. Is it possible to declare my daughter when I apply for my work permit?

Please advise me. Thank you.

How are you going to work here? You would have to find an employer willing to apply for an LMIA and then apply for a closed work permit. You are looking at a 6 month process if it is approved. You should have corrected your error before you landed on your study permit.

Hi there, can I correct it when I applied for my Post Graduate Work Permit? Can I write a letter of explanation explaining why I did not declare my child on my study permit? I came to Canada under study permit.
