Hi !
I have a study permit that allows me to work in Canada but that restricts the fields in which I’m allowed to work (healthcare, childcare). I worked for a month and a half full time as a day camp facilitator (animator?) this summer and I did the equivalent of 5 replacement days between August and October as an animator in an elementary school. As soon as I realized that I was doing something that I might not have the right to do, I immediately called my employer to tell him that I would not come back to work until I had resolved this situation. Being in the last year of an Bachelor of Education, I need to do elementary school internships and I don't know if I should change my license and do the medical exam for it. If yes, my question is: do I first write to IRCC to explain the situation in detail and apologize ? Or should I write all of this explaination on the new application form? Also, is it considered an offence (infraction) to have done this work? (Cause in the form to change the Visa, they ask if we have already committed an offence)
I'm afraid that I will be excluded of the country or that I will be refused my next permit/visa.. I know I have to tell to the immigration that i did this work. But i don't know what is the best way to do that...

Also, the international office of my University advised me to wait 6 months before applying for a license modification and to say that I had done this work (concerning article R221 paragraph R200 (3) of immigration law). But 6 months is a lot and i'm very stressed..
