Unable to update my submitted application - not recieving any response.

Hi everyone, I have searched this forum for similar situations but came across non. If anyone has any input I would really appreciate it!

I applied for EE inland under CEC with 500points in Feb. Application was being updated each day, until I got to the BG check, it was in progress for 2 weeks then changes back to Not Needed at this time. I understand that CEC is taking a longer process than other routes, so I just let it be.

Since my application was submitted, I have been unemployed and on a visitor visa. During Feb 2106 I also applied for an Open Work Permit, which was approved within a month. I have been working and would like to update my profile. I am unable to update it through CIC and I have not received an eCAS (cas) login. I haven't received a reply from CIC about this.

I am wondering, if any has any info - similar experience on this problem and how to resolve it!

A submitted application cannot be edited. Any changes you may want to notify CIC can be done through Case specific Enquiry. Employment status post AOR need not be updated. No harm in doing so but doesnt change anything.

Exactly.

The moment you submit your application, you can no longer make changes.

Raising a CSE is your only option to inform IRCC about changes to your profile.
