Unable to Submit Police Certificate - Hong Kong

Hi Everyone,

I received a letter of request for a Police check from Hong Kong, and have already had arranged for it to be submitted. With the receipt of payment and case number.

However, the hong kong government does not send the report to the individual but to Ottawa directly.

So - How do I upload such proof onto the CIC? I tried to upload a Letter with all receipts on it but the form does not allow me to do so (only allowed in the format of an actual police report).

Anyone know what to do in such situations? IRCC phone lines are not even taking calls today but Im gonna call first thing tomorrow.

Try again? Maybe the form allows you to "upload a Letter with all receipts on it"? Just confirm the size of that file is okay and it is a PDF file.

Of course, you need to attach an additional LOE to explain this too.

Did you even read regarding this on Canada.ca website? A little google would have helped you
