Unable to get SIN

Dear All,

We landed in Canada on 22nd September 2022, went to Richmond service Canada on 23rd. I was able to get my SIN, but the officer at the center said, he cannot validate my spouse's information and is unable to provide his SIN to him. They told us to connect IRCC on call, but all the attempts are in vain. Any other way out? Please help.

Most likely border officer did not mark your spouse as landed immigrant at POE. Suggestion is to call IRCC or head back to POE and talk to CBSA office. Things should be fine then. Good luck !

Most likely border officer did not mark your spouse as landed immigrant at POE. Suggestion is to call IRCC or head back to POE and talk to CBSA office. Things should be fine then. Good luck !
