Unable to extend work permit how will this affect my application?

Hi,

My work permit will be coming to a end Feb 2013.
I am unable to get a extension on my work permit as my LMO has been rejected.
Will my application still be processed as I applied based on Arrange employment or will it be rejected?
In which case I will withdraw my current application and apply under Canadian Experience class as I do make the points.
Please Advise?

If you are in Quebec and have a CSQ you can get a new work permit because you have a pending PR application. I don't know how it works in other provinces though.

Another question is, why was the LMO rejected? Any chance to correct that issue and try for another LMO? How much longer do you anticipate your PR will take? Good Luck.
