Hi all!
I'm currently a graduate from the UK with a law undergraduate degree. I'm planning on doing my masters next year, a LLM - masters in Law in Canada. Having done a bit of research I have read that obviously doing a masters in Canada does not guarantee you a job straight afterwards. Although this does depend on your degree subject.. What I have heard about law in particular is that it is very difficult in gaining opportunities after completing your masters.
Anyway I really don't enjoy being in the U.K, and I have always wanted to live in Canada and since the legal system is somewhat similar to the U.K.. I just wanted to find out from anyone or any UK graduates on their move to Canadan and what the opportunities are like after studying your masters.
Sorry If I sound a bit ignorant about all this, but would really appreciate some information about studying a masters degree in law in canada, and its prospects and also how the job market is for international students/graduates.
Thank you
Melissa
