Hey people,

I am hoping someone might be able to give me some advice on this problem.

I have already booked onto and paid for a very expensive snowboard instructors course in Canada and it was only recently brought to my attention that I might not be accepted entry because I have been arrested previously. The reason I didn't think about it previously is because I am in the British army and have been to the USA before with no problems, but obviously the American government must have wavered this for training purposes. I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Were you arrested and charged - or just arrested? If you were charged - what was the conviction for? How long ago did you complete your sentance (or any fine / punishment) levied?
