UK Birth Certificate

I'm putting together my application at the moment, and have noticed my UK birth certificate doesn't actually list my parents anywhere. Is this going to be a problem? Are there any Brits here who have had the same problem?

Is there a longer birth certificate I can get from the Gov that will show this? Or am I just being over cautious?

Thanks in advance!

You can apply online for the long version of your birth certificate. It's not expensive and easy to obtain.

I would not apply with only the short version.

You'll need to go through this process, which will depend on exactly where the event was registered.
