AOR Received.
16th April
Hi All,

From looking at various threads with peoples timelines on, ive not really seen many people from the UK sharing, so I thought i would create a separate thread to see whether there had been much movement via the London VO. My timeline is below:

ITA 27/03
AOR 16/04
Medical Passed 16/04

ECAS 3 lines - Application received

Still waiting for more movement - has anyone got similar timelines with any updates?

Cheers

Ed

Applied from the UK, see my timeline in the signature below. Did you apply as a single applicant or with a dependant and / or spouse? I haven't even received a schedule A or any request, did you receive any request?

No dependants and as FSW.

No schedule A request but its the background declaration form which is essentially submitted electronically - not everyone gets that...

When you say ecas 3 lines what so they say? I submitted June 5, meds passed June 12.l, same day 3 lines on ecas, received null/starting process and medicals received

What did you submit as proof of funds? Just 6 month statements? I Can't convince my bank to issue an additional confirmation letter to me.

Same here. I went to Barclays because I have an account there, the lady looked at me like I was crazy. I then tried Lloyds because I have the rest of my accounts there, d lady told me she's worked there for 15 yrs and had never heard of such letter. After pleading she then took a screen shot of the list of my accounts and their start dates printed it and stamped it. I then printed 6 months statements of each of my accounts and wrote an explanation letter.

Guys, for the POF, where the bank statements and letter in CAD or GBP?

proof of funds i provided statements from all of my bank statements for the last 6 months, got the bank to write a brief letter confirming my current balance on letterheaded paper and to stamp it - i'm with nationwide, they have had no issues doing this any of the times i've applied (had 3 1 yr visas previously). I also submitted a xe.com print out detailing the exchange rate on submission day.

wrt to 3 lines on ECAS, it has the dates of application and received, and they your medical has been passed - its been like this since aor on 16th april.

anyone had any movement passed AOR yet?

Thanks

Ed

So you basically provided a balance certificate which I could easily have gotten too from my banks however CIC didn't ask for that. Did you ask nationwide to provide you with the detailed letter CIC asked for ie details of all your accounts and loans with start and end dates etc? What did they say?

I'm a Brit who's been living in Canada for about 1.5 years and applied from within.

I was one of the first batch to be invited, and it's taken a while but I've had a schedule A and a CELPIP request so I'm hoping I'm on the home straight now...

Timelime over there <---- and down there VVVV

Went into branch, and basically passed them the requirements for the letter and aid i need that... and short of the average account balance which they didnt want to calculate they provided it. I then added the statements as I've had the required cash saved and sitting in the same account for a few years, and wrote in my explanation letter that current account fluctuates but see savings account for balance in excess of $12k for the last x months.
