UAE PCC from outside

Hello guys,

I 've lived in the UAE for 6 years. Now I am in my home country. I asked my friend in Dubai to go to CID near Al Mulla Plaza to make a PCC for me.
They said that now they issue only electronic version of PCC and send it by email only.

Is that fine to have an electronic version of UAE PCC for NON-residents? Those who have oиtained it recently, please share your experience.

It's fine; IRCC only need softcopies of all documents.

a couple of months ago they used to provide a hard copy with stamp and signature. The problem is I am not sure whether the ePCC is fine for NON- residents. On CIC website it is not mentioned that for NON-residents an electronic PCC is ok.

yeah i can assure you it wasnt the case - i applied for my PCC in december and it was a soft copy only.
