UAE Clearance for spousal sponsorship

Hi guys,

Just a quick question,,

I've applied for my husbands sponsorship through the Abu Dhabi visa office (Family Class). I submitted my documents on August 10th 2012...
We included all his police clearance certificates, one being his UAE clearance.... Now from what I have heard the UAE clearance is only valid for 2 or 3 months,, if that's true,, will they ask for the clearance again??? Abu Dhabi has already requested documents which I've sent them on January 3rd, and they received it on Jan 6th (I know this through the tracking #) and they didn't ask for it as of yet...
Does anyone have any experience with this,, and if they will ask for it again?

Would greatly appreciate all your reply's comments.

I don't think your spouse need another police clearance. A police certificate should be received by CIC within three months from its date of issue.

so that's how it works,,, I was actually thinking that it expires after three months at which time he will need a new one.

just another question since I have your attention..... If we keep updating the visa office as in sending my new job offer letter and new visa for my husband at different times in between the processing.... does our application get delayed in anyway?? .....
