U.S. Husband Immigrating to Canada re:Medical

Hi Guys, Another question, I looked up the list of Panel Physicians for his state (New York), only 2?? And their in NEW YORK, N.Y.?? Like we have to travel THERE to get this done?? Can he have it done with a Panel Physician in Canada even though he is NOT covered for healthcare here?? Ontario ( where I am ) has a dozen registered physicians.....N.Y. has only 2 and they are in the city?? If this is what we have to do we'll of course do it.....but that will mean actually booking vacation and spending a bunch of $$$. I'm stunned, only 2 in N.Y.

Yes, he can have it done in Ontario. He'd have to pay for the exam out of pocket even if he were covered by OHIP.

It's cheaper in Canada too. Only $49 for an x-ray. I about fell out of my skin!

The state of Oregon had only one. It took three months for the appointment and was total of $ 380.00. The letter confirming that they had sent the results took 50 days to receive.
