Typo in passport number in the IMM form

Question: if someone made a typo in their IMM form where they entered "O" instead of "0" in their passport number, should they submit a webform to amend that? Or will the vo crosscheck and understand? I submitted a webform where I mentioned my typing error and attached another scanned copy of my passport. Will there be any issues? Also, if they issue my PPR but with the incorrect passport number (ELO instead of EL0) what should I do?

You did the right thing, they should cross reference the number on the form to your passport and hopefully the web form catches up with your application but there are no guarantees when dealing with IRCC.
