I really appreciate your advice guys about a typo in my middle name in my bachelor certificate, which I intend to send to WES.

My name in the certificate is listed: Rofyda Gomaa Hussien Gouda
while my name in the passport is: Rofyda Gomaa Hussein Gouda
knowing that the certificate also contains my date of birth and the name of the university!

I think WES will only provide an ECA report with the name that matches the one in the certificate.
Do you think that the CIC would reject my application for such mismatch in the middle name?
What can I do to clarify this situation other than getting a new certificate with exactly the correct name?

Thanks

The typos in names is common. What you can do is to do an affidavit explaining that you are the same person that owns this certificate. I even don't think that the typo in the name will not pose a problem, as your birth of date will be useful.

I personally suggest that if you have time, you should try to get a new certificate from back home. When Arabic names are written in English, it is important you check them yourself and make sure you supply a passport copy to the issuing faculty..

you'll be better off getting a new one with the name as in the passport
