I missed a few things to fill out that i had already printed out. It is all typed but can I write in the boxes I missed or should I type? But also, the generic form does not allow me to fill in a lot of the boxes. What should I do in that case?

I typed some n wrote some

Again u are making the process harder than it really needs to be

I know I am... but I just don't want it to be returned for a reason that I messed up on filling up the application.

i realize that but they wont return it saying u didnt type everything that would be silly and waste of their time and postage focus on the bigger issues all the signatures from ur sponsored person accurate info and file asap as u should have notice the time is 66 days and its only going to get longer

66 days for?
66 days for first stage approval. So if you send it now you will be approved somehow in January or February. Just do it quick and send it off. The days are getting longer and longer.

lol i like the time frame Jan or FEB very funny but sadly true

that is why we urge u to complete the forms because the longer u spend on small details the longer this process is for u unless that is ur intent

I see, well im almost done so no more small questions :) Thanks for your advices!!!

I agree with kedeisha..it took me one year to compile everything and still new forms came out etc. I could have submit earlier but nooooo, hubby wanted to go through every single details and we end up submitting in august, so we missed the boat on 30days sponsor approval stage. just make sure everything in the document checklist (there are 2 checklist) are there and you'll be fine, the most is they'll ask for non essential but pertinent docs during interview :P :P

Omg a year?? Wow that's a long time. My paperwork took less than a week to put together. And I dint over do it with the pics, emails and such. Everything was straight forward from 6 years of being together.

Hahahahahahahahahaha mine's a bit complicated, ex husband wasnt cooperative, dependents non accompanying but need to do their meds incase they want to migrate when they are older and in between bf then fiance now husband was in and out of canada for visits for proposal, conversion, marriage.

My very first post in this forum was just over a year ago. Such an excited immigrant was i then...hahahahahaha now i just want to get this over and done with so if it is rejected we can start the process for him to come here instead. (he won the toss of the coin)

a year now i feel bad for my very tiny file to go to them aww well :P

I don't think how the size of all the paperwork is what matters, I thinks its making sure all you I's are dotted and T's are crossed. And I can see why yer file would take more time.
Ked- girl what you fretting about? Yers will be fine. Mine wasn't that big and I only put in 72 pics and sa few phone bills, drawings the kids made, letters (emails and written) and a few cards. I dint want to over do it to much.
