Wala pa flight eh, kinuha pa lang ng mercan ang availability date ko, and i need to work still due to my resignation effectivity date and not to mention the processing of my exit clearance and lastpay sa current work ko dito SG. for sure yan susunod na kau. Dibdibang panalangin lang talaga and strong faith.

Kasi ang ginawa ko nagfile ako ng resignation ko ten days after ko mafile ung COC ko, sapalaran lang tlaga at positive thinking lang. Sabi kasi ng mercan discretion ko na daw un as long as i know my schedules (release of release of coc,etc). Napaka supportive ng mercan kaya assured ako sa mga decisions ko. Bsta wag ka lang panghihinaan ng loob. Patience lang talaga. If gusto mo tlaga na makaalis agad, magfile ka na ng resignation mo, pero consider everything first, wag agad padalos dalos sa agdecide. If u'd like to take the risk go ka lang. As per mercan namn wala pa sila refusal since then, un ung sabi nila.

No need for PDOS. If under ka ng mercan, walang instructions na need pa for PDOS unless otherwise d ka under mercan. Un ang d ko alam.

di po kasi ako under ng mercan. direct hire po ako. kaya siguro walang instructions from mercan for PDOS dahil ang assumption is dito ka sa Singapore manggagaling to Canada, which is ok. but much better yata kung covered tayo ng OWWA for certain benefits; as we are still considered Overseas Workers kahit saang bansa pa ang destinasyon natin.

my husband is now getting in touch with OWWA in Canada kung paano sya macocover. dumerecho din kasi sya to Canada from SG at hindi dumaan sa PDOS...

As far as I'm concerned kasi if umalis ka sa pinas to work here under any agency, they required you to ahve PDOS as one of the major requirement before departure from pinas. Including na dun ung OWWA, but if nagpunta ka dito sa SG at dito ka na nakahanap ng work mo, that's a different story. But if nakauwi ka na ng pinas, db need natin ng OEC sa phil embassy dito and pay certain amounts for OWWA and PAG-IBiG for the purpose of not paying travel taxes sa pinas pagbalik mo ng SG, the fact ma nagbayad ka ng OWWA sa phil embassy dito, i presumed OWWA member ka na.

Passport? Wala pa eh, nasa embassy pa din. Wait daw ako ng further instructions from embassy pr expect ko daw via singpost.
