Got my COC request today.

Im so happy and i cannot hide it.

Here's my timeline.
Aug 29, 2013- submitted thru Drop box.
Jan 29, 2014- COC request.

Question to those ppol who already got thier COC.
How do the SPF will send you the COC?
Is it self collect or SPF will send directly to the CHC.
And any idea how to get NBI here in Singapore.
Appreciate all your reply and thanks in advance.

COC is to be self collected. When you apply you will be given a date for collection of COC in person.

Regarding the NBI, you need to make an online appointment at Philippine embassy website Singapore. You go there on the date of the appointment then they will give you a form and do the thumbprinting. Then you send the form together with authorization letter, photocopy of your IC and passport to your relatives in the Philippines. They will be the one to apply for your NBI and it takes one week before they release your NBI clearance.

Finally heard goods developments! Police clearances requests received on 21 January 2014. NBI (Philippines), FBI (USA) and COC (Singapore).

Hey there..yes there is a letter that you need to bring along with you when you request for COC..

Thanks for the info. Anyone tried goin back to the Phil to get NBI. Is that faster?

no passport request yet...i will collect my coc singapore on 12th feb...i also need to submit nbi and fbi clearances...fbi clearance from the US will take about 5 to 6 weeks...

oh my. that's too long to wait. isn't.
are u done w/ ur nbi?
did they also mentioned in the email that we need to comply (within 30 days).

Is the letter a soft copy sent to you by email?

I was worried because my application was filed online by the agent. The mailing address is filled with the agent's office address in Toronto. But I'm in Singapore....I thought it would be good if the letter is sent to me directly.

Yes..since its online application you would have a soft copy..i think as long as you have own email address registered in the application then its no problem as they will be sending u updates on that email only or if u have account in your MYCIC...
