two year residing with sponsor

my fiancee and i would like to get married and i live and stay in canada there is a new law that the sponsor has to live with the person he/she is sponsoring for two years. he works on the road and is unable to be home all the time is this ok or do i have to be with him all the time

I dont think it will be a problem as long as you explain to the immigration that due to his work he wasn't around your house most of the time and that he is still uses your home address as his permanent address. I think that would be alright.
