Hello,
My fiancé is an immagrant here in Canada (moved here as a child and grew up in B.C). I am here on a study permit for four more years. I currently am enrolled in a diploma-based school NOT degree giving. This is making it hard for me to work here after my student visa is up. I am from The United States. I fell in love while on my visa with a man who isn’t a citizen. How can I stay in Canada after my study visa is up?

Others can comment as well but answer seems simple , get married and then assuming your to be spouse is a PR then go for an inland or even Outland spouse PR application. Alternatively if meeting the common law definition with proof of min 12 cohabiting go that route, same process. Don’t have to be a citizen to sponsor someone , being a PR will do.

Not sure why if someone has been living as a PR since childhood has not applied for citizenship but that’s a different subject
